Whole-Brain Teaching Conference Draws Hundreds at LSU-Shreveport

LEARNING TO TEACH THE WHOLE BRAIN: Hundreds of teachers from 15 states and Washington, DC packed the auditorium at LSU-Shreveport's student union center July 19-21,2016 to learn about a teaching method developed by  Chris Biffle.  The three-day conference included several presentations and practical exercises  that illustrated effective classroom management and "Functricity" powered teaching strategies that make learning fun and increase student focus and engagement.

Chuck Smith brings more than 30 years' broadcast and media experience to Red River Radio. He began his career as a radio news reporter and transitioned to television journalism and newsmagazine production. Chuck studied mass communications at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia and motion picture / television production at the University of California at Los Angeles. He has also taught writing for television at York Technical College in Rock Hill, South Carolina and video / film production at Centenary College of Louisiana, Shreveport.
