LSUS: Due to inclement weather, LSUS will be closed on Monday, January 11th. Face-to-face classes and hybrid classes are canceled. All online classes will continue as scheduled. Please do not get out on roadways unless absolutely necessary as falling temperatures may cause roads and bridges to become hazardous. The university will make an announcement tomorrow at 4pm regarding classes and operations for Tuesday, January 12th.
All NWLA public schools closed Monday due to threat of winter weather
Shreveport City Courthouse will be closed Monday, January 11, 2021 due to the inclement weather expected this afternoon through tomorrow morning. Anyone who has a court date while the courthouse is closed, a subpoena will be served with the new court date. The court will continue to monitor the travel conditions Monday and will announce the reopening. Individuals may also call or come in person to receive their new court date when the courthouse reopens.
DOTD: Road closures ahead of potential snowfall
City of Bossier City administrative offices, including those for City Council and City Court, will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 11, 2021 due to the forecasted wintry weather.
Caddo, Bossier, De Soto, and Red River Parish schools and district offices will be closed Monday due to the threat of winter weather overnight Sunday. Webster’s school board meeting has been moved to Tuesday at 6 p.m.
St. John Berchmans in Shreveport will be closed.
LSU Shreveport, Southern University Shreveport, Bossier Parish Community College, Grambling State University, Northwestern State University, and Central Louisiana Technical Community College will be closed.
