Airs Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 6 p.m. Tune in for a special Health Matters, Thursday at 6 p.m. John M. Barry, Tulane University professor, historian, and award-winning author of “The Great Influenza: The Story of the Deadliest Pandemic in History,” will join host Dr. Randall Brewer to talk about the flu pandemic of 1918 and the current coronavirus pandemic. Barry’s writings have led him to be involved in public policy, and he has appeared as a guest on shows such as NBC's Meet the Press, ABC's World News, and NPR's All Things Considered.
