Airs Friday, March 24, 2017, at 11 p.m. Pink Floyd founder and 2015 Newport Folk Festival headliner, Roger Waters, looks back on his solo recordings, reflects on the continued relevance the subjects, focusing on his 1992 album Amused to Death. Imagine a monkey watching a television, switching from one station to another and trying to make sense of what he’s seeing. That’s the premise behind Roger Waters’ concept album amused to death. Waters draws from the news, history and his personal life to find understanding and meaning in a chaotic world.
