Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival

Airs Thursday, February 14, 2019, at 1 p.m. The new season of concerts from the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival continues as host Kerry Frumkin welcomes Violinists Daniel Hope and Jennifer Frautschi along with violists Paul Neubauer and Eric Kim, and pianist Inon Barnatan to the stage. We'll hear Dvořák's Terzetto in C Major, Op. 74 and the Piano Trio No. 2 in C Major by Brahms.

This week on the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, the Tokyo String Quartet will present Haydn's String Quartet No. 27 in D Major, Op. 20, and then the Festival Chamber Ensemble takes on Schoenberg's Chamber Symphony No. 2 in E-flat Minor. Kerry Frumkin will host this week's concert from the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival on Red River Radio.

Airs Saturday, August 24 at 2 p.m. This week from the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival clarinetist David Shifrin will be featured in Busoni's Elegy and Bernstein's Clarinet Sonata. The concert will conclude with the Horn Trio in E-flat Major, Op. 40 by Brahms.

Airs Saturday, August 17 at 2 p.m. This week on the Santa Fe Chamber Music concert violinist Benny Kim, cellist Lynn Harrel and pianist Jeremy Denk perform Beethoven's Piano Trio in C Minor, Op. 1, No. 3 and conductor Alan Gilbert leads a chamber ensemble in Schoenberg's Chamber Symphony No. 1 in E Major, Op. 9.

Airs Saturday, August 10 at 2 p.m.  This week on the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival pianist Jeremy Denk joins the Tokyo String Quartet for a performance of Edward Elgar's Piano Quintet in A Minor, Opus 84. The concert will open with J.S. Bach's Concerto for Violin and Oboe in C Minor, BWV 1060 featuring William Preucil as violinist and Robert Ingliss on oboe.
