Airs Monday, July 24, 2017, at 1 p.m. The San Francisco Symphony continues its season of broadcast concerts as pianist and conductor András Schiff leads the orchestra in Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 27 in B flat major, followed by the Lord Nelson Mass by Franz Joseph Haydn featuring soprano Anna Lucia Richter, contralto Britta Schwarz, tenor Werner Güra, and Robert Holl, bass. The vocalist will then be featured in Songs by Franz Schubert, works which show the power of the creative spirit even in the most difficult times.

Airs Monday, July 17, 2017, at 1 p.m. The San Francisco Symphony continues its season of broadcast concerts as Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas is joined by soprano Susanna Phillips for Samuel Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915, Opus 24. The concert will open with Dispatches by Ted Herne and we'll also feature the Pathétique symphony by Tchaikovsky and the Symphony No. 7 by Sibelius.

Airs Monday, July 10, 2017, at 1 p.m. Join the San Francisco Symphony for a brand new season as Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas is joined by pianist Daniil Trifonov for the Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor by Chopin on a concert that opens with Ravel's Menuet antique, and also features Rossini's Overture to La scala di seta and Roman Festivals by Respighi. The concert concludes with Also Sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss.

Airs Monday, June 26, 2017, at 1 p.m. This week on Carnegie Hall Live Michael Tilson Thomas leads the San Francisco Symphony in an all Mahler.

Airs Monday, January 23, 2017, at 1 p.m. On this week's broadcast concert by the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Pablo Heras-Casado will take the podium, joined by pianist Igor Levit for Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 9 in E-flat major, K.271. Haydn's Symphony No. 44 in E minor will open the concert and we'll also hear Debussy's Prelude à L'Après-midi d'un faune and the Symphony in Three Movements by Stravinsky. Then from the archives Michael Tilson Thomas will lead the orchestra in the Symphony No. 7 by Sibelius from 2007.
