Airs Thursday, September 13, 2018, at 1 p.m. This week on Carnegie Hall Live pianist Martha Argerich will join with Rome’s Santa Cecilia Orchestra under the direction of Antonio Pappano for Verdi's Sinfonia from Aida, Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3, Respighi's Fountains of Rome and his Pines of Rome plus encores of Ravel's Little Ugly Girl the Valse Triste by Sibelius.

Airs Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 1 p.m. This week on Carnegie Hall Live L'Arpeggiata Presents Music of the Italian Renaissance featuring selections by Rossi, Cazzati, L. Allegri, Sances, and Monteverdi plus as a bonus we'll hear Respighi's Pines of Rome performed by Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and to fill out the program Mozart's Violin Sonata in B-flat K. 454 performed by violinist Joshua Bell & pianist Jeremy Denk.

Airs Monday, January 1, 2018, at 1 p.m. This week on the Cleveland Orchestra Franz Welser-Möst will lea the orchestra in a concert recorded at Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami featuring Mendelsohn's Symphony No. 4, “Italian” and Respighi's “The Pines of Rome.”

Airs Monday, November 6, 2017, at 1 p.m. This week on the Cleveland Orchestra, music director Franz Welser-Möst leads the orchestra the the Roman Triptych by Respighi, his Roman Festivals, Fountains of Rome, and The Pines of Rome. The concert will open with Beethoven's Symphony No. 8.
