This week violinists Benny Kim and Daniel Phillips are joined by violist Steven Tenenbom, and cellists Mark Kosower and Peter Stumpf for the String Quintet in F-sharp Minor, Op. 63 (1944-45) by Walter Braunfels. The concert opens with the Piano Sonata No. 1 by Pierre Boulez featuring Haochen Zhang.

Airs Monday, June 18, 2018, at 1 p.m. This week on the Cleveland Orchestra, the season concludes with an archival concert featuring Pierre Boulez leading the orchestra in Haydn's Mass in d, “Lord Nelson,” and the complete ballet score from Daphnis and Chloe by Ravel.

Airs Monday, Auguest 15, at 1 p.m. On this week's concert from the Cleveland Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra honors Pierre Boulez with a concert from the archives featuring maestro Boulez leading the orchestra in L’Ascension by Messiaen, two works for piano by Ravel with his Piano Concerto in G major and his Piano Concerto for the Left Hand featuring pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard, and this concert concludes with Debussy's “Iberia,” from “Images.”
