On this Health Matters, we will learn about allied health professions and about an upcoming health fair offered by the School of Allied Health Professions at LSU Health in Shreveport. We’ll also talk about autism awareness, what to do if your child isn’t meeting developmental milestones, and physical therapy’s role in health. Guests include Dr. Michele Yetman, PhD, Clinical Psychologist at the Children’s Center; Dr. Ed Mahoney, PT, DPT, EdD, Program Director and Associate Professor of Physical Therapy and Certified Wound Specialist; and Dr. Erin McCallister PT, PhD, Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy, Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, all with the School of Allied Health Professions at LSU Health Shreveport.
