How Can I Keep from Singing is a beautiful hymn text that lifts the spirit through song as an expression of the deeper soul. He is the Director of Choral Studies at Emory University and conducts the 40-voice Concert Choir and 180-voice University Chorus. He has conducted choirs throughout North America and Europe, including performances in Krakow, Berlin, Leipzig, Prague, Moscow, Washington, D.C., Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Spivey Hall, and the Piccolo Spoleto Festival. Nelson is also a composer of choral music whose works are published by Colla Voce and Augsburg Fortress.
