A New call-in-show from Red River Radio hosted by Ross Foote. He will answer your photo questions live during the show. The show will feature non techno-professional talk, but simple common sense answers on how to improve your pictures. Ross will be joined by guest co-hosts to share tips and suggestions from over 40 years experience taking photos. Smartphones,  weddings, babies, kids sports, pets, sunsets, birthday parties, telephotos, wildlife, travel, we are ready to help. Answers will be given live, and emailed questions and answers will be posted on the Better Picture Web Site with some discussed on the show if time allows.

Airs Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at 6 p.m. Neil Johnson, one of Shreveport's favorite artists returns to The Better Picture for another hour of fun, insights, information and stories. Neil currently has a fantastic one man show called Still Photography at ArtSpace in Shreveport that is a compilation of 80 photographs taken over 40 years. These imagesare his retrospective of pictures that have spoken to him. This is not his commercial work, this is his love of photography for its own sake. Neil exposes himself through shots that move from flowers to merry go rounds, stillness to motion, haunting to elegant and abstract to precise. And of course Felton, our purple armadillo oversees it all. The show runs through September so hurry in, you don't want to miss it.

Airs Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at 6 p.m. Henrietta Wildsmith is the photographer for the Shreveport times, and a lot more. She has also worked as Staff Photographer for the Hattiesburg American, the Star Community Newspapers, and the North Texas Daily. She does videos, photo editing, galleries for paper, manages instagram for the paper and is involved in all aspects of covering and showcasing Shreveport. Henrietta majored in photography in college and has been applying it to the world since graduation. She has been an integral part of our news and our area for over a decade. Airs August 28, 2018, at 6 p.m. Mark and Mike Mangham posted some vintage photos of Southern Hills to a Facebook page and got a a great response. Mike blended some of the old shots with some new ones and got numerous requests for more. With his twin brother they began expanding to downtown Shreveport shots applying their then/now magic. The twins blended old and new into a search for a glimpse of the past and a desire to preserve what is left. Twin Blends was born and has moved on to time warping images dealing with drone photography combined with old scene captures. Their photos work on many levels through many ages. Mike and Mark join us on The Better Picture to talk about what they did, what they do, what is possible and more. Join us and for fullest most authentic experience dig out your old transistor radio and play alongside side your digital one. This should be fun!
