The Young Artists Competition winners are...

See the winners of Red River Radio's 3rd annual Young Artists Competition! Read more.

The judges have made their selections for Red River Radio's third annual Young Artists Competition. The winners will assemble on Sunday, May 13, at 5 p.m., at LSU Shreveport's University Center Theater for the winner's concert. This concert is free and open to the public. Join us as we celebrate these young artists and their accomplishments.

The Winners Are:

Sean Nathan, age 17, from Shreveport. He will perform the final movement from Saint-Saen's "Violin Concerto No. 3."

Emily Owens, age 16, from Benton. She will perform the first movement from the Wieniawski "Violin Concerto No. 2."

Carly McClain, age 17, from Marshall. She will perform "Se tu m'ami" by Pergolesi.

Erik Ekland, age 14, from Ruston. He will perform the "Black Key" etude by Chopin and "Un Sospiro" by Liszt.

Austin Hughes, age 18, from Ruston. He will perform Bach's "Gigue for Guitar, BWV 1007."

Avery Jeffcoat, age 11, from Bossier City. She will perform "For Good" from Wicked.

Wesley Ducote, age 18, from Natchitoches. He will perform movement 6 from Ravel's "Le tombeau de Couperin."

Sarah Sandifer, age 18, from Natchitoches. She will perform "Everywhere I Look" by Molly Carew.
