Report Reveals Covid-19 Infection Rate In Louisiana Is World's Fastest

LOUISIANIAN'S ORDERED TO  STAY AT HOME - Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards issued a “Stay At Home” order late Sunday afternoon,   During his press conference, Edwards explained the number of cases of Covid-19 detected in Louisiana have been increasing week-to-week.

"Two weeks ago today there were zero confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Louisiana," Edwards explained. "One week ago last Sunday morning we had 91 confirmed cases, as of this morning we now have 837 confirmed cases and 20 deaths."

ISSUING ORDER - Governor John Bel Edwards issued "Stay At Home" order late Sunday 3.22.20

Governor Edwards explained that Louisiana’s infection rate is the fastest growing rate for the number of Covid-19  cases in the world and the 3rd per-capita  in the Nation behind New York and Washington State.  The "Stay At Home" order will go into effect beginning at 5pm  Monday evening, he The order will effect  all non-essential businesses – however grocery stores and pharmacies will be allowed to remain open.
