The Final broadcast in this year's LA Opera broadcast season feature Jules Massenet's 'comédielyrique' in three acts and seven tableaux, Thais, starring Nino Machaidze as Thais, Placideo Domingo as Athanael, and Paul Groves as Nicias, with ValentinAtkin as Palemon, MilenaKitic as Albine, HaeJi Chang as Crobyle, and Kihun Yoon as Servant. Nicola Raab directs and Patrick Fournillier will lead the LA Opera Orchestra in this production of Thais on Red River Radio. Duff Murphy will host.
