GAS PRICES - Gas prices have hit all-time highs across the nation. The Dallas offices of the American Automobile Association tracks fuel costs and says the statewide average for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel in Texas jumped 20 cents in the last week. As of today it's $4.15 a gallon. Spokesperson Daniel Armbruster says gas prices may continue to fluctuate.

“…especially, given the volatility in financial markets surrounding crude oil. But, you know, either way, gas prices are going to be up on the upper end, especially when you compare them to what we were paying last year,”  Armbruster said.

This time last year, Texans were paying an average of 2 dollars and 76 cents per gallon, Arkansas motorists were paying about $2.76 compared with $4.05 now and Louisiana drivers paid $2.73 compared with $4.14 a gallon of regular this week.
