Michael Butterman and classical guitarist Jason Vieaux join Kermit Poling for a conversation about the coming SSO concert featuring music of Rodrigo and Strauss.
On Thursday, June 2, the SSO welcomes back GRAMMY-winning classical guitarist Jason Vieaux to perform solo works by Bach, Albéniz, Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington arranged for guitar, followed by Rodrigo’s popular and evocative Concierto de Aranjuez. Strauss’ lyrical and humorous take on Molière will close the evening. This concert was rescheduled from January 8 and will be held at First Baptist Church.
