Protestors assemble in East Texas to obstruct Keystone construction

Environmental protestors are organizing in East Texas to cause construction delays for the Keystone Gulf Coast pipeline project. Ron Seifert, spokesman for the group Tar Sands Blockade, says more than 60 people recently convened in Sulphur Springs, Texas, for civil disobedience training.

Campers sign courtesy agreement in Rusk, Texas

The two-week Thespians 'n Training camp begins today in Rusk, Texas, at the Cherokee Civic Theatre. The students, ranging in age from 6 to 17, all sign an agreement to be respectful of their peers so as to not inhibit the creative process. The camp's one-act plays will be presented on July 28.
