Natural Woman: Carole King

Airs Friday, June 1 at 9:00 p.m. Carole King's iconic career as a singer, songwriter, and pianist extraordinaire will be celebrated with a two-part two-hour public radio special, Natural Woman: The Carole King Radio Special. Featuring exclusive interviews with Carole, mixed with her unforgettable music, the retrospective covers her entire 50+ year career - from her first songwriting hit in 1961 at aged 18 ("Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow") and her huge hit for the Monkees ("Pleasant Valley Sunday"), through her enormous career as a solo artist (Tapestry sold 25M copies worldwide), and all the way up to her sold-out tour in 2010 with longtime friend James Taylor. Hosted by syndicated broadcaster Mike Etchart, and produced by On The Strip Radio Network.

Carnegie Hall Live: Lang Lang in Concert

Airs Wednesday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m.  The inaugural season of Carnegie Hall Live wraps with one of today's most popular pianists. Lang Lang shows his enormous range, from the delicate textures of Bach to the nearly orchestral sonorities of Schubert. Billions watched his performance at the 2008 Olympics, Time magazine named him one of the most 100 influential people in the world and this Carnegie Hall recital of Bach, Schubert and Chopin is sold out. BUT, with Red River Radio you can have a ticket for this concert by Lang Lang.

J. S. Bach: Partita No. 1 in B-flat Major, BWV 825
Schubert: Sonata in B-flat Major, D. 960
Chopin: Twelve Etudes, Op. 25
