The R.W. Norton Art Gallery in Shreveport will display 80 photos of Vietnam soldiers, taken by combat correspondent Bob Spangler of Longview. The exhibit opens Tuesday and runs through Oct. 14. The Norton's oral history project has amassed hundreds of interviews with veterans over the past decade.

Louisiana Public Broadcasting presents the television debut of its one-hour documentary, "Louisiana: 200 Years of Statehood." The Bicentennial Commission also developed a companion teacher's guide. The documentary has been screened at bicentennial celebrations around the state since April. It airs tonight at 7 p.m. on LPB.
