| Prysm Submission Guidelines |
|
To be considered for an upcoming program of Prysm, first please send us the following:
- Basic event information and names, way in advance! The earlier you reach us, the more we can do for you.
- Digital photos for this web page: most importantly, one or two head shots. Also important: one or two examples of your visual art, if applicable.
No less than a week in advance of our Monday show we will need to have completed:
- Brief interviews, preferably featuring more than one voice and, ideally, ambient sound from the work in progress. These interviews will usually be conducted at a location set by the Red River Radio staff, most likely at a location in Shreveport such as our our studios on the LSUS campus.
Important reminders:
- Arts organizations and individuals who are some distance from Shreveport and Bossier City, may choose to send us interviews and ambient sound recorded on CD, DAT, minidisk, mp3 or even cassette.
- Due to time constraints, we won't be able to fit all material submitted during a typical one-hour program. If so, we'll do our best to get your material on a future show.
- At this time, Red River Radio cannont remimburse producers for pieces that air on Prysm. It is our intent to do so in the future once that show garners additional funding support.
