Airs Thursday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. Brahms' Violin Concerto with special guest Gil Shaham. They'll also present Kaija Saariaho's Laterna Magica in its New York Premiere and the Shostakovich Sixth Symphony, created to convey "joy and youth" — a perfect springtime program from one of our nation's top orchestras.

Note: Yefim Bronfman was unable due to perform to illness and Gil Shaham agreed to step in an play the Brahms Violin Concerto at the last minute.
