There are still power outages throughout the El Dorado area including the KBSA Transmitter. Power may not be restored until 8 p.m.

Ice On Our Towers Causing Reduced Power

The weather in Alexandria, Lufkin, and El Dorado is causing ice to build up on our towers and antennae which has forced us to reduce power at this time. We will continue to operate at reduced power until the ice melts. This may cause poor reception in some areas. So far KDAQ is not affected by icing but conditions may change overnight. We appreciate your patience during this period of severe weather.
