Search For Underwriting Account Executive This position was advertised on the LSUS Employment web page, and emailed to all LSUS employees. The position was additionally advertised twice in The Times, Shreveport’s daily newspaper. 5 applications were received: two male and three female (race was not determined for this search). One female was hired and began work December 21, 2006.
General Manager This position was vacated abruptly, and the position filled by a white male via internal promotion. The promotion was effective October 16, 2006.
Search for Development Director The position was advertised on the station's web site, through announcements on the stations, advertised on Shreveport Help Wanted dot com, and notices of the vacancy were mailed to list of referral sources). A total of 30 applications were received, 12 from males and 18 from females (race was not determined during this search). A white female was hired August 28, 2006.

Red River Radio has maintained an ongoing programming of working with interns who are interested in broadcasting. These interns learn the basics of radio and broadcast production, through the creation of projects intended for airing on Red River Radio.
Red River Radio began a collaboration with the Louisiana School for Math, Sciences and the Arts where High School students attended a residency by our news producer for the purpose of gaining an understanding of radio and broadcast production. The creation of a 7 minute feature piece was the result of this collaboration.
Red River Radio participated in one job fair, held on the campus of Louisiana State University Shreveport during the past year.
