During the period of July, 2005 and January, 2006 Red River Radio had one full-time position opening, that of Development Director.  The position was advertised on the station's web site, through announcements on the stations, advertised on Shreveport Help Wanted dot com, and notices of the vacancy were mailed to list of referral sources (see list below).  A total of 41 applications were received, 19 from males and 22 from females (race was not determined during this search).   Three males and one female were interviewed for this position.  A white male was hired July 25, 2005.

On October 3, 2005 Red River Radio participated in the LSUS Health Fair, where information on various careers was disseminated.  Red River Radio provided information on careers in public broadcasting to college students and members of the community..

On October 11, 2005 Red River Radio took part in a Job Fair on the campus of LSUS, sponsored by the University's career placement services.

Through its affiliation with the Louisiana State University in Shreveport Red River Radio has established a program providing employees with opportunities to attend relevant training programs and seminars.  In addition, Red River Radio staff receives a comprehensive educational benefit program and are able to pursue academic learning in their area of interest or career path.
